View the speedometer in the navigation interface in Google Maps
Google Maps, in the functions during navigation, also includes a convenient speedometer capable of communicating the speed to the user so as to be more careful about respecting the speed limits. By starting navigation, in fact, the target speed is automatically displayed, exactly as happens with navigation devices Tom Tom, Garmin, and all the others.
How to activate the speedometer on Google Maps
I have already said it but I repeat it for accuracy, that the speedometer is displayed exclusively in the navigation interface, in practice if we are in the map exploration interface this will not be displayed.
To activate it you have to
- Open Google Maps
- Click on the icon that coincides with our avatar, at the top right of the search bar, and click on Settings
- Select Navigator Settings
- In the Driving options area, activate the Speedometer
At this point it will be enough to start the navigation to find it on the display
