A simple trick to lighten the initial startup of Windows
The first reason for slow startup is almost certainly a large number of applications that are opened (on startup) and left running in the background. The solution, therefore, is almost certainly not to allow the launch of applications that we could not use.
Windows provides a tool for this, the System Configuration Utility, a tool built into Windows operating systems that allows users to manage various aspects of system startup and performance.
Remove unnecessary programs from system startup
Reducing programs from system startup can help make your computer more responsive, speed up the boot process, and improve overall performance. To be able to proceed
- Go to the Run item in the Start Menu and type
msconfig
- Choose the Startup tab of the window that just opened
- Disable from the list all the applications that we do not want to start at system startup, but be careful not to disable the antivirus and firewall processes
- Once deselected, click Apply and restart your PC
